Prime Minister Plenkovic: Croatia will not import grain from Ukraine

“Croatia’s position and desire is to be a transit country, not a country where abnormal amounts of grain cheaper than ours will come from Ukraine and in which case our agricultural producers will have problems,” he said.
Previously, Zagreb had offered Kiev the opportunity to deliver grain by rail, river transport along the Danube, as well as through the port of Rijeka on the Adriatic Sea, but then nothing was reported about the deliveries either by the government or the media.
Officials of Slovakia, Hungary and Poland had previously announced that they would unilaterally extend the ban on the import of four types of agricultural products from Ukraine.
