Peskov: Countries that refuse to pay for gas in rubles have already left the supply
MOSCOW, June 9 – RIA Novosti. Press Secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, said that Western companies, refusing to pay according to the new rules, have already cut off the Russian gas supply, and no new cuts are planned – at the moment gas buyers are already working on the new system.
“It’s already closed, yes,” Peskov told reporters when asked about paying for gas under the new rules and shutting down consumers who don’t comply with the new rules.
Peskov also said whether new shutdowns are planned.
“No, the system is working, the system has been adjusted, and the gas fields are already working according to the new system specified in the relevant decree of the President of Russia,” he replied. There will be new cuts.
