Lawmakers evaluated the legislative initiative in its first reading in October.

“This is especially true for Vladivostok, one of the most motorized cities in our country. Therefore, the main goal of resetting the transport tax for owners of electric vehicles is to increase the percentage of such vehicles on the roads of our region.” “To reduce the damage to nature,” he said.
The tax advantage will be valid as of January 1, 2024.
According to the traffic police, there are 1,476 electric cars in Primorye by the end of 2022. As a result of tax preferences, the regional budget will receive a deficit of 2.96 million rubles. Authorities plan to compensate for losses by developing the electric transportation market.
