Earlier on Tuesday, customers of the mobile operator Tele2 were informed of a significant increase in tariffs, complaints about this appeared on social networks.
As the correspondent of RIA Novosti found out, the previous “Unlimited” tariff increased from 450 rubles to 750 rubles for monthly use.
In mid-April, the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation published methodological recommendations for the progressive indexation of tariffs of telecom operators, taking into account the current level of inflation, which was developed to ensure the development of the Russian economy under sanctions. The validity of changes in the tariffs of operators is determined by the service in connection with the correspondence to the change in inflation, according to the weekly published data of Rosstat. If the level of tariff changes corresponds to inflation as of the last week of the month from the beginning of the year, the change is considered justified.
