MOSCOW, June 26 – RIA Novosti. As of June 26, Gazprom supplies Russian gas for transit through Ukrainian territory in the amount approved by the Ukrainian side through GIS Sudzha – 42.1 million cubic meters. The application for GIS “Sokhanovka” was rejected,” he said.
Since May 11, Ukraine has stopped receiving gas in transit through the Sokhranovka GIS, citing that it is under the control of Russian forces (on the territory of the LPR). As a result, only one entrance remained for the passage of gas to Europe – GIS “Sudzha”. Gazprom noted that the transfer of all volumes to Sudzha is technologically impossible, the company fulfills all its obligations to European consumers, and transit services are fully paid for.
