Evraev: The impact of expanding benefits for TASED residents will be significant
YAROSLAVL, July 29 – RIA Novosti. Acting Governor of the Yaroslavl Region Mikhail Evraev believes that the economic impact of expanding benefits for residents of developed socio-economic development (TOSED) regions will be very significant for the region.
According to the regional government, during his visit to the Yaroslavl region on Friday, Russian Federation Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said that TASED residents in single-sector cities will continue to pay reduced contributions over the next two years. . The decision taken by the Russian government will alleviate the impact of the restrictive measures caused by COVID-19, which has prevented many companies from fully implementing their investment plans.
It is stated that three TASEDs have been established in the Yaroslavl region: Tutaev, Gavrilov-Yam and Rostov. The total investment of residents of these sites will exceed 8 billion rubles, more than 3 thousand jobs will be created. More than half of the planned funds have already been invested in the creation and development of industries, from which almost one and a half thousand jobs have appeared. The regional president expressed confidence that the decision to extend the aid period will attract new investors to single-sector cities and help reduce unemployment and renew the regional budget.
On Friday, as indicated in the message, Reshetnikov, together with Evraev and Igor Shchegolev, the President’s plenipotentiary in the Central Federal District, visited the enterprises of the “Master” industrial park at TASED “Tutaev”. There are 17 industries employing more than 650 people. Product turnover doubled during the year, the volume of tax and customs payments increased quarter-on-quarter, and fixed capital investments increased by 87%.
In addition, the authorities visited the site of the Regional Engineering Center, created at the initiative of the regional government, which helps businesses obtain TASED resident status and provide consultancy services. Another item in the work program was the Tutaevsky Motor Plant. The press service of the government of the Yaroslavl region emphasizes that the enterprise specializes in the production of diesel engines for various equipment and is included in the list of companies of strategic importance for the country.
