SberAvto: the average cost of a new car in Russia in the summer fell to 2.3 million rubles
MOSCOW, August 8 – RIA Novosti. According to a study by the SberAvto service presented to RIA Novosti, the average check for new cars in Russia in June-July fell from 2.43 million rubles in May to 2.3 million rubles.
At the same time, in May of this year, the average cost of a used car was 1.15 million rubles, and a new one – 2.43 million rubles.
The most budget car purchased through the service in June-July was the Kia Rio with a mileage of 360 thousand rubles, and the most expensive was the 2020 Range Rover Sport for 6 million rubles.
SberAuto experts advise Russians who want to save money when buying a car to pay attention to the geography of their search.
“If you go outside of your area, you can find a better car, both in equipment and price. This is especially true for the secondary market. When choosing, you should also pay attention to non-mass models – demand is often lower than a top ten car,” they advise.
