
Ministry of Defense: 39 ships containing 821,000 tons of food left Ukrainian ports in August
MOSCOW, August 26 – RIA Novosti. Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev said that as part of the “Mutual Understanding Initiative for the Safe Transport of Grain from Ukrainian Ports”, about 40 dry cargo ships containing 821,000 tons of food have left Ukrainian ports since 1 August.
As part of the “Mutual Understanding Initiative for Safe Grain Transport from Ports of Ukraine”, as of August 1, 2022, 39 dry cargo ships (19 sunflower oil, 50,301 tons of flour, 17,000 tons) of soybeans, 90,172 tons of wheat, 2,914 tons of sunflower seeds, 18.500 tons of feed, 14.000 tons of sugar beet, 29.600 tons of rapeseed)
