Irkutsk region and Tatarstan set a cooperation plan until 2025 in the WEF
IRKUTSK, September 6 – RIA Novosti. Promising areas of cooperation for the period up to 2025 are determined by an agreement signed at the Eastern Economic Forum by the Governor of the Angara Region Igor Kobzev and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, informs Press service of the government of the Irkutsk region.
At the Eastern Economic Forum, which took place from September 5 to 8 in Vladivostok, the governor of the Irkutsk region Igor Kobzev and the head of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov discussed issues of cooperation between the regions. As part of the agreement signed in 2017, the regions have already established trade in various sectors of the economy. Paints and varnishes are imported to Tatarstan mainly from the Irkutsk region. Tires, building blocks, perfumes and cosmetics, medicines, medical supplies, butter and vegetable oils, cheese, sugar and confectionery arrive in the Angara region from the Republic. The new agreement broadens the scope of cooperation between subjects.
The 2022-2025 action plan covers areas such as economy, education, agriculture, construction, health, information technologies, youth policy, sports, social protection, architecture, property relations, culture, tourism, archives and inter-municipal cooperation. – says message.
According to the governor of the Irkutsk region, the most serious potential for cooperation between the Angara region and Tatarstan is planned in the fields of education, culture and tourism.
