Degtyarev: Khabarovsk Territory signed six agreements for 180 billion rubles at EEF-2022

KHABAROVSK, September 9 – RIA Novosti. In September, the Khabarovsk Territory at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok signed six agreements worth 180 billion rubles, reported Governor Mikhail Degtyarev.

The delegation of the Khabarovsk Territory, headed by the Governor, took part in important parts of the forum. The head of the region spoke at the sessions on the modernization of the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian Railways, the development of education and the future of shipbuilding in the Far East, spoke with young diplomats, conducted and concluded a number of important negotiations and agreements aimed at developing the Khabarovsk Territory.

“Let’s summarize EEF-2022. Six landmark agreements were signed with Sberbank PJSC, Gazprombank JSC and Port Elga LLC, as well as VTB Bank PJSC, Tourism Corporation JSC. RF”, Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Russian Railways OJSC and FinInvest LLC, All Russia Small and with the Medium Enterprises Public Institution “Opora Rossii”. 180 billion rubles in total,” Degtyarev wrote on the Telegram channel at the end of the forum.

It was noted that the agreements reached lay the foundations for the future development of the region and aim to achieve the main goal of improving the quality of life in the region. Regional authorities and new partners will start implementing new projects in the near future.

The key event of EEF-2022 was the plenary meeting where President Vladimir Putin spoke. The head of state noted the rapid growth in the importance of the macro-region, identified development priorities and new support measures for the Far East. On the sidelines of the forum, the Russian leader also set up three new production facilities in the Far East, including the Alexander Deev cargo and passenger car ferry built at the Amur Shipyard in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

VII WEF was held on the campus of Far Eastern Federal University on Russky Island in Vladivostok from September 5-8. RIA Novosti acted as general information partner. This year the theme of the forum is “Towards a multipolar world”. And its purpose is to promote the accelerated development of the economy of the Far East and the expansion of international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region in the new world order. According to Roscongress, 296 agreements worth 3 trillion 272 billion rubles were signed at the forum.
