From October 3 to 9, Hermitage Days will be held for the first time in Chechnya
Petersburg, September 30 – RIA Novosti. Hermitage Days will be held in Chechnya for the first time. According to the press service of the museum, it will be held in Grozny from October 3-9.
“We greatly appreciate our traditional ties, so we bring wonderful porcelain sculptures and an exhibition for people with special visual needs, so that for a few days all residents and guests of Grozny can feel and touch the world heritage in the Hermitage,” he says. The first exhibition is the “Porcelain Russia” by sculptor Pavel Kamensky. Visitors will be able to see 24 porcelain sculptures depicting representatives of the peoples living in the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 20th century. Reproductions of the drawings will also be presented. and lithographs with architectural and landscape views, portraits of representatives of the peoples of Russia and a photographic portrait of the author of the porcelain series PP Kamensky.
The second is a comprehensive “Invisible art. Expanding the limits of the possible” exhibition for the blind and visually impaired. It is also a unique chance for all visitors to touch the world cultural heritage in a special way. Bas-reliefs based on the famous frescoes of Penjikent and their “animated” animated scenes, tactile replicas of parts of the Pazyryk carpet and other items will be presented.
As part of the inter-museum cooperation, the Chechen side will be given a 3D model of the marble statue of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna from the State Hermitage collection. It is also planned to discuss the issue of training specialists from the museums of the Chechen Republic in the latest methods and research in the field of restoration and 3D technologies.
Lectures, virtual tours and teleconferences are planned. They will show a virtual model of the Hermitage VR cinema, the Ancient Picture History Gallery and Jupiter Hall, a 360-degree movie starring Konstantin Khabensky, “The Hermitage. Immersion in History.”
Admission to exhibitions and conferences is free.
