Authentic engraving of Valentin Serov to be auctioned in Moscow for six thousand rubles
MOSCOW, November 10 – RIA Novosti. According to the press service of the Graphic Collectors Club Auction House, a real engraving by the artist Valentin Serov “A Man and a Woman with a Child in a Car” will be auctioned for six thousand rubles.
The catalog also includes works by Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva, a student of Ilya Repin, and works by Vladimir Lebedev and Tatyana Mavrina.
“One of the earliest works in the satellite catalog was the 16th-century engraving of “Woman with a Baby” by Swiss Northern Renaissance artist Jost Amman, a well-known master of book illustration and engraving,” the press service said.
The satellite auction will be held online on November 13.
