“Heart of Parma” leads the Russian box office for five consecutive weekends
MOSCOW, November 11 – RIA Novosti. The historical drama “Heart of Parma” broke several records at the box office, the press service of the project reports.
It was the first movie to hold the box office lead in five weekends since Avatar was released in 2009. The movie also has the best time to be copied since March 2022.
On the morning of November 10, the press service announces that the painting “Heart of Parma” earned more than 713 million rubles. And this is the best result since February 2022. The movie has already been watched by 2.3 million people.
He also noted that it was decided to “continue to support and promote the project at the box office.”
“We believe that this works for the future of all Russian cinema, and we hope that our risk will be justified again,” the producer said.
“The Heart of Parma” was filmed by Alexei Ivanov based on the novel of the same name about the conquest of Greater Perm by Moscow. At the center of the story is the forbidden love of Prince Michael and the pagan witch Tice.
The main roles were played by Alexander Kuznetsov, Elena Erbakova, Sergey Puskepalis, Evgeny Mironov, Vitaly Kishchenko, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Elena Panova, Roza Khairullina and Ilya Malanin. It was directed by Anton Megerdichev (“Movement Up”, “Metro”).
The film debuted at the Russian box office on October 6.
