Wisconsin Serial Killer: The True Story of a Horror Movie
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is not only the bloodiest horror franchise in B-series cinema. Few people know that the events in the film are inspired by real events. Leatherface character tells the real story of ed gein, a serial killer active in Wisconsin. He is considered one of the worst serial killers in American history. News reports indicate that he is responsible for the deaths of at least two women and for hiding about twenty graves, committing acts of necrophilia and quartering them. As in the film, he called himself Leatherface, because he made several face masks from the human skin of his victims..
