“Moskino” director: cinemas “Fakel”, “Youth” and “Zvezda” will start working from the new year
MOSCOW, November 24 – RIA Novosti. Moskino General Manager Natalia Mokritskaya said that Moskino has not suffered as much from the withdrawal of Western studios from the Russian market as commercial networks. It was also possible to repair the Fakel, Yunost and Zvezda cinemas. The halls will be opened to visitors from the new year.
According to him, “Moskino” continues to work with complex auteur films and collaborates with “Moscow Longevity”, shows films for young people.
Mokritskaya added that at a meeting of the culture and mass media commission of the Moscow City Duma, it is also in the plans to show projects shot jointly with friendly countries.
“Now we are preparing a new project for the film community, we will show our co-productions of the 1970s-80s and early 90s,” said Mokritskaya.
