The film company “Amusement Park” stated that it did not receive the request for the recall of the “Monastyr” rental.
MOSCOW, November 25 – RIA Novosti. The amusement park film company reported that the press service of the broadcasting service did not receive the request from the Ministry of Culture to cancel the rental license of Manastır.
The Ministry of Culture has decided to refuse to issue lease certificates on the grounds that it insults the religious feelings of believers.
The department noted that the materials in the series are submitted to the Russian Orthodox Church for peer review. They noted that the script gave a distorted view of monastic life in the monasteries.
Commenting on the situation, Roskomnadzor told RIA Novosti that the law does not provide for a separate requirement for a lease certificate for a distributed audio-visual work.
According to the plot of the series, Muscovite Maria, who leads a crazy and party lifestyle, gets into an unpleasant situation with influential people – her accounts are blocked, she is faced with a prison. The girl decides to hide in a monastery.
The director and scriptwriter of the series was Alexander Molochnikov, who had previously left the country in opposition to Russia’s special operation in Ukraine.
The first two parts of the monastery project were published on the Kinopoisk platform.
