The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has placed the Ukrainian singer Loboda on the list of unwanted persons in the country.
MOSCOW, November 24 – RIA Novosti. The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has included the Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda in the list of undesirables. LRT the department’s press secretary is Paulina Levitskaite.
“After consultations with our Ukrainian partners, we are adding the actor to the unwanted list,” a Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.
At the same time, Minister of Culture Simonas Kairis said that because Loboda is a citizen of Ukraine and lives in Latvia, he is not automatically banned from entering Lithuania.
The reason why the artist was recognized as an undesirable person called the head of the Ministry of Culture an “ambiguous” attitude towards Russia.
The issue of the singer’s status came to the fore after the news about Loboda’s planned tour in several cities of Lithuania in November-December.
