MOSCOW, December 1 – RIA Novosti. Konstantin Bogomolov spoke about his departure from Russia on his page on the social network.

He stated that he was tired of the question of whether I should quit, not from the job.

The director wrote, “No. I have no reason to leave Russia. This is my country that I love very much. It is the best country in the world.”

Earlier, Bogomolov denied rumors about his emigration.

At the end of October, his wife, Ksenia Sobchak, was spotted walking through the Vidzy checkpoint on the border between Belarus and Lithuania. This information was confirmed by Darius Jauniškis, head of the Lithuanian State Security Agency, who said that the journalist entered the country with an Israeli passport, the existence of which he repeatedly denied.

On the same day, the Moscow Tver Court arrested two people close to Sobchak – Kirill Sukhanov, the commercial director of his company, and Arian Romanovsky, the former editor-in-chief of the secular Tatler magazine. They are accused of extorting 11 million rubles from the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.

In early November, messages appeared on the Web about the return of the presenter to Russia.
