During such entertainment, the dog’s condition can be monitored by a motion-sensitive tracker attached to the leash.

Barking gamers have learned to play video games with treats smeared on consoles. Over time the portion got smaller and the dogs understood what was required of them.

Dersim Avdar, co-founder of Startup, was inspired by his dog to create video games. The animal was left alone at home, and the owner was worried about how the pet was feeling.

Avdar also came across an article in a scientific journal. The businessman learned that as dogs age, they train less and their physical activity is limited. They take little intellectual load, in addition, pets are prone to cognitive dysfunction in dogs – a type of dementia.

The startup hopes video games will help tackle these issues. After all, the natural deterioration of mental abilities can be countered by training cognitive skills, Avdar says.

According to the developers, they can even be used in animal shelters – dogs do not have many opportunities for activity there either.

Also, video games can inform the owner about the strange behavior of animals. The information obtained should be discussed with the veterinarian.
