Cameron described the budget for the second “Avatar” as the worst business case in movie history.

According to him, the movie turned out to be very expensive. The director warned the studio that the tape represented “the worst business case in the history of cinema.”
The director assures that in order to make a profit, the project must be the third or fourth highest-grossing film in history.
Avatar: The Way of Water is Cameron’s first feature film in 13 years and the first of four sequels to the original film.
The film tells what happened to the main characters – Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), an ancient earthman, and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), a representative of the Na’vi people living on the planet Pandora.

Avatar: The Way of the Water will premiere on December 16.
