Matvienko offered to give the award to Malakhov for the author’s program “Songs from the bottom of my heart.”

MOSCOW, December 1 – RIA Novosti. The Chairman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko, offered to give the presenter Andrey Malakhov a government award for the author’s TV show “Songs from the Heart”. She shared her opinion at a meeting with cultural and art figures.

Turning to Tatyana Golikova, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, the speaker said, “I would present a government award to Malakhov for this unique project he has done on the Rossiya channel.”

He also noted that the project has become a good example of popularizing folk art.

“Malakhov’s program is dedicated to a folk song, folk art, in which people from the provinces are represented. It attracts enormous attention, the ratings go off scale,” Matvienko added.

Also, according to the speaker, folk culture constitutes a code of civilization society that helps to meet the challenges facing Russia.

The author’s music program Malakhov “Songs from the bottom of my heart” was broadcast on the TV channel “Russia” in the spring. In it, nugget talents from different parts of the country gather at a round table, sing songs and tell family stories.

Earlier, Malakhov spoke about the disappointment in the artists. Often times the teenager reported that they did not conform to their ideas.
