The movie “Millennium Grandma” won the Eastern European Film Award three times.

MOSCOW, December 6 – RIA Novosti. Vladimir Arshinin’s Russian short film “The Millennial Woman” won the International East European Film Award (EEIMA) in three categories, the press service of the creative association Made Inside reported.

It won awards for best short film, cinematography and editing.

This is a film adaptation of the poem of the same name by the contemporary Russian poet Yana Krapiva. The initiator and producer is Victoria Alekseeva, the founder of the creative association and the music and poetry label Made Inside.

“The main metaphorical image of our film is a thousand-year-old grandmother who symbolizes the continuity of all women, so in many cultures women are portrayed as symbols of care, love and home,” says Alekseeva.

The first screening of “Millennium Old Woman” in Russia will be held on December 15 at the Moscow cinema “Oktyabr”.
