Musician Loza said that Zelensky’s sanctions were “neither hot nor cold”.
MOSCOW, January 15 – RIA Novosti. Commenting on the sanctions imposed on him by Ukraine, singer Yuri Loza told RIA Novosti that he has no ties to this country, that he is “neither hot nor cold” to the Ukrainian sanctions.
He added that he did not understand at all what the imposition of these sanctions meant. According to the singer, she has no real estate in Ukraine that can be arrested, for example, no plans to go on tour that can be canceled, and no accounts in Ukraine that can be blocked.
Loza said, “I really don’t understand what the sanctions are against me. I haven’t been in Ukraine for the ninth year. There was such a website there called Myrotvorets and I got involved right away.”
Volodymyr Zelenskyy had the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) enforced sanctions against 198 individuals, including actor Yegor Beroev, director Andrey Konchalovsky, producer Yana Rudkovskaya, military journalist Semyon Pegov and singer Yuriy Loza.
The Ukrainian nationalist website “Peacemaker” is known for its scandalous publications, in which journalists called the data of the militias of the Donbass republics and other citizens “traitors to the motherland”. The actions of the owners of the “Peaceful” website were also criticized by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who considered the publications “a direct call for retaliation against journalists”. The database of the “Peacemaker” website also contains information about a number of Russian cultural figures and other citizens of different countries.
