BLAGOVESCHENSK, January 20 – RIA Novosti. More than 30 cultural, informative, educational and other events are planned in the Amur region for the 100th anniversary of the birth of director Leonid Gaidai. reported on the regional government website.
“During 2023, festive events will be held both in the Amur Region, where the film director was born, and in the Irkutsk Region, where he started his career,” the publication said.
For example, in January, “Diamond is Ours!” Flowers will be laid at the Gaidai monument in Svobodny, the musical film marathon.
In addition, exhibitions will open, exhibitions dedicated to the master of comedy will also begin to work in Blagoveshchensk. Throughout the year, quizzes, intelligence games, tasks, art hours will be organized. An important event will be a special program and a photography exhibition based on the work of the director during the “Amur Autumn”, implemented by the regional philharmonic society and the Novikov-Daursky Museum of Local Culture.
Preparations for the anniversary date were discussed at the first online meeting of the organizing committee at the Ministry of Culture of the Amur Region and Irkutsk Region.
