Ministry of Culture: 477 applications were made to participate in the Grand Tour program

MOSCOW, January 24 – RIA Novosti. According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, 477 applications were submitted for participation in the Grand Tour program.

“According to the results of the work of the expert commission, it is planned to organize 271 tours in 2023. The Grand Tour will be held in 79 regions and 136 cities and towns of the Russian Federation. Seven countries will participate in the external race. direction,” the report says.

A total of 247 theaters are planned to participate in the Grand Tour program this year, and there are many new groups among the participants.

The press service therefore noted that for the first time the Berezniki Drama Theater, the Kazan Academic Russian Bolshoi Drama Theater named after Kachalov, will go on the “Grand Tour” in the interregional direction.

110 applications were received for participation in the program “We are Russia”. The ministry noted that according to the results of the work of the expert commission, 55 tours are planned in 2023, in which 51 creative teams will take part.

The ministry added that the tours will be held in 81 regions and 216 cities and towns of Russia.

The All-Russia tour and concert plan, which includes two federal programs of the Ministry of Culture – “Grand Tours” (theatre tours) and “We are Russia” (tours of national groups), is designed to recreate a unified tour system. country.
