Bloggers Dasha Koreiki and Hilmi Forks file administrative lawsuit over LGBT propaganda
MOSCOW, January 24 – RIA Novosti. In its response to State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova (available on RIA Novosti), the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has filed an administrative lawsuit against bloggers Dasha Koreika and Hilmi Forks under an article on LGBT propaganda, said an investigation is ongoing.
In early December, Lantratova appealed to the Prosecutor General’s Office and Roskomnadzor with a request to control bloggers under the pseudonyms Dasha Koreika and Hilmi Forks for LGBT propaganda, spreading transgenderism, posting immoral behavior and insulting the feelings of believers.
“According to the results of the assessment of the indicated information by an authorized official of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Tverskoy District of Moscow on January 13, 2023, an administrative offense case was initiated under Article 6.21 “Propaganda”, on unconventional sexual relations and (or) preferences, gender reassignment. An administrative investigation is underway” – said in response to the deputy of the first deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Alexander Gorovoy.
At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the administrative case for drug propaganda was rejected. Also, the department conducts an “incomplete” procedural check to evaluate the actions of bloggers under Article 242 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “illegal production and circulation of pornographic materials or objects.”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs added that, given the presence of signs of violations of the law on the protection of children from information harmful to their health, the materials were sent to Roskomnadzor and the Investigative Committee.
