Sergei Debizhev, director of “Sacred Archipelago”, gave SVO a chance to find a way for Russia
MOSCOW, March 7 – RIA Novosti. Sergei Debizhev, the director of the movie “Holy Archipelago”, spoke about the impact of the special operation on the future of Russia. To him, the NWO became a chance for the country to find its own way.
“I considered this (SVO – Ed.) a chance to find our own life that corresponds to our idea of life, to build our own future. Someone suddenly decided that the so-called civilized world would tell us how to live. We agreed to this, we betrayed our way,” shared the director.
According to him, Russian civilization has “a different form of existence, a different understanding of being”.
The film “Holy Archipelago” tells about the life of the brothers of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Solovetsky Stauropegial Monastery. The movie was shot in 6K for the big screen.
It was also selected as the best documentary at the 44th Moscow International Film Festival. The “Holy Archipelago” will premiere on March 8 in more than 100 Russian cities.
Earlier, Dmitry Medvedev was surprised why the producers of the series, who were critical of CBO, were not replaced. He also noted that artists should turn to traditional values.
RIA Novosti is the media partner of the Holy Archipelago project.
