Director Sarik Andreasyan started working on the TV series “The Shadow of Chikatilo”
MOSCOW, March 13 – RIA Novosti. Sarik Andreasyan has started working on a new series, “The Shadow of Chikatilo”. He shared a snapshot of the script for the first episode.
However, he did not disclose the details of the new project.
In 2020, Andreasyan filmed the TV series Chikatilo, about the investigation of the life and crimes of a Soviet maniac. The role of Andrei Chikatilo was played by Dmitry Nagiev. The first season of the serial film was released in March 2021, and the second a year later. The series ended with the hero’s death sentence, which ended the whole story with a real killer.
Earlier, the pilot Damir Yusupov explained the details of the work in Andreasyan’s film “In the sun, along the rows of corn.” He served as a consultant on the set.
