To mark the 150th anniversary of the composer Rachmaninoff, a symphony concert was held in Venezuela.

BUENOS AIRES, 26 March – RIA Novosti. The Russian embassy reported that a symphony concert was held in Venezuela to mark the 150th anniversary of Russian composer Sergei Rachmaninoff.

The Juan José Landata Orchestra performed Rachmaninov’s Second Symphony. The program also included several novels and short works by the great Russian composer.

“While Russian culture is everywhere oppressed or, as they now say, “cancelled”, we have the opportunity to enjoy the works of great classics like Rakhmaninov in Venezuela.
