The last one concerns the Guardians of the Galaxy. Through a comment via Twitter, the director revealed that the third and final chapter will be the longest of all films so far dedicated to the Guardians of the Galaxy. So what is it Goodbye, the one dedicated to fans of the trilogy, but how many exactly? James Gunn chose not to reveal too much specifically, but jumped at the opportunity when a fan asked about the estimated length of the film: “Is it true that it will be about two and a half hours?”. At this point, the director replied:

It will be about that long, though it’s still not correct. And I promise not a second will be wasted. We didn’t add filler. It was necessary to go through the full storyline of all the main characters of the Guardians, not only for this film, but for the entire trilogy (or, better, beyond the trilogy).

A statement that immediately gave ideas: what do you mean, other than the main trilogy? Is there a future for Guardians even without James Gunn? The director added another comment to dampen the enthusiasm. In fact, it refers to special Christmas aired on Disney+, as well as the participation of warriors in Avengers: Endgame. In any case, the duration of the film should be guided by 2 hours 29 minutes, including end credits and any scenes after the credits. At the moment we don’t have official confirmation yet, but according to James Gunn, it shouldn’t deviate much from this game time. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff along with records Groot AND rockets they will return for the last time, a great adventure awaited May 2023 at the cinema.
