Russia created the National Prize in the field of children’s and adolescent literature
MOSCOW, March 3 – RIA Novosti. They created the National Prize in the field of children’s and adolescent literature in Russia, reported On the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
The organizing committee and the jury were headed by Vladimir Tolstoy. The award was awarded by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communication and Mass Media.
The publication says that the idea for its creation “arose during Olga Lyubimova’s visit to the Russian State Children’s Library last year.” The initiative was carried out by the author, chairman of the board of trustees of the Russian State Children’s Library Andrey Usachev, and Dmitry Chukovsky, grandson of KI Chukovsky.
The awards will be given in seven categories: contribution to the development of children’s literature, prose for children, prose for young people, poetry for children, poetry for young people, picture book for children and youth, publishing project for children and youth.
Applications for participation are accepted on the website detlitpremia.rf from April 3 to June 15.
