TMZ: Christine Baumgartner files for divorce from Kevin Costner

They have been married for 18 years. It is unclear what caused the separation. According to Tabloid, Christine talks about “irreconcilable differences.”
The artist’s representative said, “Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control, he has to participate in the dissolution of the marriage. We ask you to respect the privacy of Kevin, Christine and their children.”
Celebrities have three joint children aged 12, 14 and 15. According to TMZ, both Kristin, 49, and Costner, 68, are seeking joint custody.
The publication also states that Baumgartner did not seek financial support after the divorce. Presumably, a marriage contract was signed, as stated in the publication.
Costner is an Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy winner. He participated in “Bodyguard”, “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves”, “Yellowstone” and other projects. He was previously married to Cynthia Silva, with whom he had three children. The actor also has a son with Bridget Rooney.
