Benicio del Toro and Geoffrey Rush to receive honorary awards at Karlovy Vary Film Festival
MOSCOW, June 21 – RIA Novosti. Benicio del Toro and Geoffrey Rush to receive honorary awards at the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival reported on the review website.
Del Toro was awarded the Festival President’s Award. It is given to actors, directors and producers who have made significant contributions to the development of cinema not only in their own countries but all over the world.
In addition, the films “Traffic” and “Suspicious Persons” will be screened at the examination in honor of the artist.
Rush will receive a Crystal Globe for his outstanding artistic contribution to world cinema. Films featuring the actor such as “The King’s Speech!”, “The Feather of the Marquis de Sade” and “Shine” will be removed from screening at the festival.
The 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival will take place from 1 to 9 July.
