The broadcasts of the Rachmaninov Competition have been viewed more than four million times worldwide.
MOSCOW, June 23 – RIA Novosti. The publications and recordings of the Rachmaninov International Piano Competition, Composers and Conductors collected more than four million views, reported on the event’s official Telegram channel.
The videos were watched in 66 countries. Including USA, Japan, Germany, Great Britain, Latvia, Netherlands, Austria, Singapore, Czech Republic, Belgium, Estonia, Argentina, Sweden, Lebanon.
The competition will take place in Moscow from June 14 to 27, on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Rachmaninov, which will be celebrated in 2023.
More than 500 participants from 33 countries applied for participation. As the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova reported, 25 pianists, 25 conductors and 12 composers came together for the tour in Moscow.
