MOSCOW, September 2 – RIA Novosti, Roman Kharrasov. On the TV channel “Russia 1” “Come on, all together!” His show begins. More than 60 participants in the qualifying stages will show their skills in front of a hundred jury members headed by Sergey Lazarev. This year the format of the competition has changed: the organizers added an additional stage – the semi-final. How to make a show – in the material of RIA Novosti.
Only 64 out of five thousand: how are the participants selected?
Casting takes place throughout the year, as the organizers admit. More than five thousand people submitted their surveys in 2022.
“I watch videos posted in the app. No audio processing is a mandatory requirement. My selection criteria are of course the voice, as well as the person’s artistry and personal background. I transfer the chosen ones. The creator and music producers are connected, the vocal teachers. My decision is not final,” said casting producer Olga Khalizova. -Volkova to RIA Novosti.
All editors have special training. The music and creative producers decide who attends the show. The final choice is up to the general producer and representatives of the Rossiya channel.
Take a chance: what the contestants say
The contestant must sing a song and win as many jury votes as possible (maximum 100) in order to be a member of the next stage. Three people advanced to the semi-finals. Leaders may change during the program. If two singers have the same number of points, a round battle is held where they sing new songs for them, and the jury chooses one and votes again.
Thus, the competitor’s repertoire becomes the main repertoire. Yulia Sumacheva, executive producer of WeitMedia, said they worked with him long before the show even kicked off.
“Even at the initial stage of online interviews, we ask what kind of repertoire a potential participant demonstrates and how quickly she can learn something new. Of course, it is important that the song fits the character and vocal abilities of the singer. The show is just as important: we have to make an interesting product for the audience. That’s why “For our part, we can offer something for the participant or choose one of his works.”
Members of the jury have their own views on the repertoire. For example, singer Eteri Beriashvili is sure that the participants must first of all understand what they are singing about.
“I want the contestants to tell us their stories. Because first of all, every member of the jury is a person and only then is a professional. An artist is someone who not only sings well, but also touches with his performance.” said Beriashvili.
Singer Alsou became a guest member of the jury of the first issue. She noted that the judges did not have a common opinion and they often disagreed among themselves.
“I wanted to support every participant, because they all have come a long way, passed the casting and deserved to win. Lazarev, I am absolutely sure that we made the right choice,” said the singer.
Solid and different: 100 judges
The main feature of the project is that the participants are more jury members than themselves. There are exactly 100 experts, they sit on a wide wall and evaluate the competitors by pressing a special button.
Yulia Sumacheva noted that the main difficulty among the members of the jury.
“Of course it’s hard to get 100 people together. Everyone has their own schedule, including touring, and we have clearly planned shooting days. It’s also important to have representatives of different genres and musical genres on the wall: singers, composers, teachers. we don’t have faces, one changes from program to program,” said Sumacheva.
It’s also not uncommon for jurors to have difficulties during registration. The project team has its own solution for this.
“The team of the show has more than 300 people. Behind each row on the jury wall, we call the “pioneer camp”, there is an appointed manager. They have their own chats, during pauses in the shooting you can: solve some technical and even everyday problems,” – said Julia.
Also, Sumacheva said that there were cases when the jury had to intervene in their dispute.
“Our faces are creative people and everyone has their own opinion. A small exchange of ideas, in which all the jurors were involved, turned into a heated discussion. Of course, it looked more like a stand-in. mass discussion and back to a quiet dialogue. But that rarely happens ” says the general producer of the project.
Two more television premieres will take place this weekend: “Avatar” will air on NTV on Saturday, September 3, and on Channel One – “Voice 60+” on Sunday, September 4.
