Pushilin voted in the referendum on the entry of the DPR into Russia
DONETSK, September 23 – RIA Novosti. The RIA Novosti correspondent reported that Denis Pushilin, the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic, voted in the referendum on joining the Russian Federation on Friday. Pushilin voted in one of the adjacent plots, on which the visiting commission worked.
The referendum on accession to Russia began on Friday in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Voting will continue for five days until September 27. The public immediately attempted to hold a referendum on the regional authorities. According to the representatives of the republics and regions, joining Russia will secure its lands and restore historical justice. According to them, this decision is extremely necessary in the context of the constant terrorist acts by the nationalist authorities of Ukraine and NATO members, who supply weapons to kill civilians.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that Russia will support the decision to be made by residents of the Donbass, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
