Foreign Minister Lavrov described the fragmentation of the post-Soviet space as the goal of the West
MOSCOW, September 30 – RIA Novosti. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the West’s aim is to further divide the post-Soviet space and to confuse the peoples, and the most striking example of this is an “anti-Russian” formation in Ukraine.
It is no secret that the philosophy of “divide and rule” is actively used by the West in relation to the states of the former Soviet Union. The goal is absolutely clear – to further fragment the post-Soviet space, to fight our countries and peoples, to impose unprofitable schemes of interaction, to push the boundaries of global processes “, – said Lavrov at a meeting of the heads of intelligence services of the CIS countries in Moscow on Friday.
“The most striking consequence of such a destructive route is that Ukraine has become an anti-Russian foothold,” he said.
