MOSCOW, September 30 – RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russian fighters heroically defended Donbas during the special operation, the country will do everything to support their new territories and their security.
“They (warriors – ed.) are not at the parade – they are at war. They heroically defend the election of the people made a few days ago. I know what I am talking about. Heroic … We will. and do everything to increase the level of security for these people,” he said.
On September 30, Putin signed agreements on the admission to Russia of the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. From September 23 to 27, referendums were held in these countries and regions on joining Russia. In the DPR, 99.23% of those who voted to join the Russian Federation, in the LPR – 98.42%, in the Kherson region – 87.05%, in the Zaporozhye region – 93.11%. On Friday, Putin and the heads of the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions signed agreements on the annexation of the regions to Russia and the creation of new topics in its composition.
