Federation Council International Committee supported the ratification of agreements on the entry of new territories
MOSCOW, October 3 – RIA Novosti. A source in parliament told RIA Novosti that the Federation Council Committee on International Relations supports the ratification of international agreements on the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions and their entry into Russia.
The Federation Council will consider the laws at its meeting on 4 October.
Previously, referendums were held in these regions, in which citizens voted in favor of joining Russia. On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin after the results of the referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, and then signed agreements with their heads on the admission of the regions to Russia.
