Chairman of the DPR Bidyovka People’s Council: It is very valuable for us that the voice of the Donbass people is heard
DONETSK, 3 October – RIA Novosti. Volodymyr Bidyovka, Chairman of the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic, commented on RIA Novosti about the approval by the State Duma of an agreement on the entry of the republic into Russia.
“The State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation today adopted a series of historic decisions on the entry of four new regions into Russia. In particular, the agreement on the entry of the Donetsk People’s Republic as a subject into the Russian Federation was approved and the relevant federal constitutional law was adopted” said.
According to him, deputies of the State Duma unanimously supported the resolution.
“It is very valuable for us that the voice of the people of Donbass is heard. Important decisions were immediately taken on the legal regulation of key aspects of the life of the people in the region as a subject of the Russian Federation. The work of officials in the republic, the recognition of documents, social and economic guarantees, the creation of territorial bodies of federal executive bodies, etc. It is a very voluminous document that provides many issues related to the rapid integration of the region into Russia.”
He also noted that tomorrow there will be a meeting of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, to which he was invited.
“Senators have long supported the people of Donbass, are involved in improving the life of the region, provide significant assistance to the population, so I hope that the decision to admit the region to Russia will be approved at the level of the Federation Council. The mood for tomorrow is the most positive,” said Bidevka.
