Press Secretary Peskov: The Kremlin is waiting for the adoption of laws on the accession of new regions

MOSCOW, October 4 – RIA Novosti. Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be able to sign the constitutional laws on the entry of four new regions into the Russian Federation today.

“There is such a chance. They will do it, probably even signed today,” said Peskov.

On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in the Kremlin after the results of the referendums in the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, and then signed agreements with their heads on the admission of the regions to Russia. Later, the Constitutional Court of Russia adopted these agreements in accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
