Peskov sees no contradiction in VTsIOM’s data on confidence in referendums and support for Putin
MOSCOW, October 5 – RIA Novosti. Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov sees no contradiction in the data of VTsIOM on confidence in the referendums and support for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Peskov said, “I don’t know, I didn’t see it. I don’t see a contradiction here. I think we should leave this bread to sociologists and let them explain the results of their research”.
According to the results of a survey conducted by VTsIOM, the majority of Russians (75%) reacted positively to the entry of the LPR of the DPR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions into Russia, with 77% believing that the referendums in these regions were fair.
The majority of Russians (80%) trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, 76% approve of his activities, according to a study by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
