MOSCOW, 24 June/ Radio Sputnik. Former State Duma Deputy of Tatarstan Fatih Sibagatullin died at the age of 72, while President Rustem Minnikhanov expressed his condolences to the relatives of the former parliamentarian. About informs DEA News.

Fatih Sibagatullin was born on May 1, 1950 in the village of Apazovo, Arsky district of Tatarstan. He graduated from the Kazan Veterinary Institute, the Saratov Higher Party School and the Kazan State Financial and Economic Institute.
He began his career at the state farm “Homeland” in the Arsk region. From the mid-1970s, he simultaneously participated in party work: he was the second secretary of the Baltasinsky district committee of the CPSU, the chairman of the Arsk district executive committee, the first secretary of the Mamadyshsky district committee of the CPSU and the second secretary of the Baltasinsky district committee of the CPSU. He served as the Minister of Agriculture and Food of Tatarstan in 1990-1995. In 1995-1996 – Deputy Prime Minister – Head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic.
