VTsIOM survey shows 80.7 percent of Russians trust President Vladimir Putin
MOSCOW, July 8 – RIA Novosti. The majority of Russians (80.7%) trust Russian President Vladimir Putin, should From a survey by the All-Russian Center for Public Opinion (VTsIOM).

Overall, 77.8% of Russians approve of Putin’s activities, 51.2% of Mishustin and 51.3% of the government’s activities.
Participants also talked about the level of trust the groups in the State Duma have in their leaders. CPRF leader Gennady Zyuganov is 29.9% of respondents, Just Russia – For Truth party leader Sergei Mironov – 30%, LDPR leader Leonid Slutsky – 16.6%, New People group head Alexei Nechaev – 7.6%’ he trusts.
Respondents would count on Putin (40.7% of cases), Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (19%), Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu (18%) to solve key state issues. Mishustin turned out to be slightly less popular – 12.9% of respondents would trust him with important government matters.
Participants answered the question of which party they would vote for in the State Duma elections. For “United Russia” – 40.6%, for the Communist Party – 10.8%, for the Liberal Democratic Party – 7.8%. 9.7% of the respondents are ready to vote for non-parliamentary parties.
A Just Russia – For Truth and New People received slightly less votes – 5.3% and 4.4% respectively.
1.6% of the respondents said they would come and spoil the ballot. 10.1% of the respondents will not participate in the elections.
All-Russian telephone survey “VTsIOM-Sputnik” was held on June 27 – July 3. 1,600 Russians aged 18 and over participated in the survey. The survey method is a telephone interview based on a stratified random sample extracted from the full list of mobile phone numbers used in the territory of the Russian Federation. Data are weighted according to socio-demographic parameters. With a probability of 95%, the marginal error does not exceed 2.5%.
