Zakharova: Johnson should change gender for NATO Secretary General position
MOSCOW, 30 July/ Radio Sputnik. Outgoing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson should view gender reassignment as a measure to encourage more employment. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
As such, he interpreted Johnson’s message that he could not become NATO Secretary General because the alliance wanted to see a woman in this position – possibly the current Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaya Kallas.
“Well, I don’t know. First of all, nothing prevents Boris Johnson from suddenly discovering a woman in himself. Trendy, bold, in his own way.” Wrote Zakharov on Telegram.
In addition, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry said that Johnson could stand on any of the genders “now accepted in NATO countries”.
According to the diplomat, the Secretary-General of the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance “may always discover in themselves a male or another gender, even if they choose from people who call themselves women.”
“Fashionable, bold in the style of Boris Johnson,” summed up Maria Zakharova.
Earlier, Sputnik radio talked about the French reaction to the publication of a photo of an American transgender admiral.
