Pamfilova: 29,000 dangerous effects recorded on MSK Internet resources since June

From the beginning of June until 8 am today, 94 DDos attacks were recorded and blocked, along with 29,176 potentially dangerous effects of high criticality, through the protection of Ella Pamfilova, the Internet portal of the Russian Central Election Commission. The Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Russia said:
“Today from June 1 to 8 am, September 10, the protection tools of the Internet portal of the CEC of Russia were recorded and blocked, I emphasize – these are our Internet resources, the Internet portal of the CEC – potentially 29,176 Dangerous effects of high criticality , 94 DDoS attacks,” Pamfilova said at the MSK information center.
During the period from the start of the voting until 8 am on September 10th, the security tools of the MSK Internet portal recorded and blocked 79 highly critical potentially dangerous effects, with no DDoS attacks recorded during these days.
Elections at various levels will be held in Russia for three days as part of a single voting day from 9-11 September, with a total of approximately 4.7 thousand election campaigns in 82 regions. By direct voting, 14 governors, deputies of six legislatures and city councils of 12 administrative centers will be elected.
Remote electronic voting (DEG) is carried out in 7 regions of the Russian Federation – Kaliningrad, Novgorod, Tomsk, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Kursk and Pskov regions, as well as in Moscow.

Governors will be elected in 14 regions of Russia, legislative assemblies will be formed in six regions, and deputies of the administrative center will be voted on in 12 regions. In addition, voters will have to decide on local governments.

Kaliningrad region is one of 26 districts where voting took place on 9, 10 and 11 September. Governor Anton Alikhanov went to the polls on the first day.

In the 32 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the voting will be one day, in the 15 – two days. Voting timing is not the same in elections at different levels in nine regions.

The voting period in Moscow is three days. MPs are elected in 125 out of 146 municipalities. There were 5638 candidates on the ballot.

There are 3261 ballot boxes in Moscow.

Also, Muscovites can vote remotely on any of the three days, there is no need to apply for it.

The ballot boxes were also opened in the Ryazan, Vladimir and Yaroslavl regions. They elect governors.

Voters cast their votes in the governor’s election in Tambov.

In total, 67 candidates from ten parties registered for the election of senior officials, two of whom ran their own candidacy.

Competition in the election of governor is about five people per seat.
