Ushakov: Tripartite format of Russia-China-Mongolia talks has proven effective
MOSCOW, September 13 – RIA Novosti. The format of the Russian Federation-China-Mongolia trilateral meetings has proven effective and will continue to work, said Yury Ushakov, Deputy Russian President for International Relations.
The SCO summit will be held in Samarkand on September 15-16. The leaders of the countries will communicate on the sidelines of the summit.
“This format has proven its effectiveness, it will continue to work,” Ushakov told reporters.
Ushakov recalled that in 2015 the leaders approved a roadmap outlining the main areas of cooperation, and in 2016 the program for the creation of the Russian Federation-Mongolia-China economic corridor was approved. “All these issues will, of course, be further developed during the tripartite meeting on September 15,” he said.
