Kudryashov: Golovkin fought well with Alvarez, but age outweighs

Kazakhstan representative Gennady Golovkin had a good title fight with the holder of the World Boxing Association (WBA Super), World Boxing Organization (WBO), World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Council (WBC) championship belts. The third fight between 40-year-old Golovkin and 32-year-old Alvarez took place in Las Vegas (USA) and ended with the victory of the Mexicans by unanimous decision. It was the first fight of the representative of Kazakhstan in this weight category. Earlier, the boxers fought in 2017 and 2018 (draw and Alvarez won by decision).
Kudryashov said, “We were all waiting for a fight that would justify Gennady’s finally revealing that he wanted to finish this trilogy. Alvarez also mentioned that. Alvarez has defended the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF and WBO super middleweight belts, the Mexican has 58 wins (39 KOs) with two losses and two draws. Golovkin holds the WBA Super middleweight title. Due to 42 fights won (37 knockouts), two losses and a draw.
