Balde’s side has yet to decide on the date for filing an appeal against the player’s disqualification.
MOSCOW, September 19 – RIA Novosti, Sergey Fuks. The date for appealing against the disqualification of Spartak Moscow player Keith Balde has not yet been set, the player’s manager, Federico Pastorello, told RIA Novosti.
Spartak announced on 17 September that Balde was suspended until 5 December 2022 for violating the doping control procedure while playing for Italy’s Cagliari. It was emphasized that no prohibited substance was found in Balde’s doping test.
Balde moved to Spartak as a free agent in late August and signed a three-year contract. For the Muscovites, he played one match and was replaced by Zenit in the eighth round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
