Post: FA blames Cristiano Ronaldo for fan incident

The English Football Association has filed a criminal complaint against Ronaldo for an incident with a fan in April.

MOSCOW, September 23 – RIA Novosti. The English Football Association (FA) has accused Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo of offensive behavior following an investigation into a situation involving a fan after a Premier League match in April.

After his lost meeting with Everton in Liverpool, Ronaldo, who was angry while walking to the grandstand, hit the phone with his hand. It was known that 14-year-old Jay Harding with autism, who later came to the Goodison Park stadium with his mother, suffered from the actions of the Portuguese.

“Cristiano Ronaldo has been accused of violating FA rules due to an incident following the match between Manchester United and Everton on 9 April 2022. The player’s behavior after the final whistle was allegedly inappropriate and/or rude.” The statement was called the FA official website.

A player may be suspended for one or more Premier League games.

Manchester United said they were considering the allegations. The club aims to support the player in this regard.

Ronaldo had previously received a conditional warning from Merseyside police for attacking a fan and causing him material damage. He was fined 200 pounds.
